About Simeon Truby

Simeon has devoted over 30 years to his craft as an actor, achieving excellence on both stage and screen. His impressive repertoire includes unforgettable performances in major musical productions, classical and contemporary plays, and iconic television shows, providing countless hours of high-quality entertainment to audiences. His extensive experience spans seasons at the Royal Shakespeare Company, the National Theatre, West End musicals, national and international tours, and prominent repertory theatres across the country. He has participated in acclaimed productions such as War Horse, To Kill a Mockingbird, The Crucible and A Midsummer Night's Dream, as well as in musicals such as Blood Brothers, Chess, The Hired Man, One Love, A Little Night Music, Little Shop of Horrors, Love Story, and Young Frankenstein. Most notably, he spent several years portraying the Wizard in Oz and Dr. Dillamond in the critically acclaimed production of Wicked, both in the West End and on tour across the UK and Ireland. 

In addition to acting, he has made significant contributions as an actor-musician, musical director, and composer in various productions.

For 23 years, Simeon and his wife successfully operated their own Performing Arts School, Urban Stage, where they produced shows featuring both young performers and adults.
